Helping a co worker out when everyone is judging him

 He was under distress and does a job that no one else likes to do.

He was mad and angry as one might get after weeks of no fixes. Starting to attack everyone involved as to why nothing is being done. Not all problems are fixed in a second. He has Covid and not feeling well today and sent out an email which was not helping anything. My team mate was getting frustrated helping him as he was sick the week prior and wasn't able to fix it yet.

I called him up and asked how he was feeling. Told him about my Covid first time to comfort him before going to the issue at hand.

He let it out and this time I listened instead of interrupting him with my plan. Even with a plan he was not happy. He was blaming everyone for his issues and not focusing on his work because he thought everyone was judging him. I paraphrased this to him and after he was much calmer with the plan I have for him.

Make sure you buy latex paint and here is why.

Daughter is having fun. Hats are painted. She goes to the sink that's full of dishes and starts to rinse the brush by bare hands like she always does, only not much paint is being removed at all and her hands look like she was shoveling coal all day in a few quick rubs.

Oops. Should have used it out side. Damn. It was cold out and cold carb cleaner would make frostbite fast.

Ok so spray a lil on a towel.  Good idea!!!

It's coming off her hands. She is smiling. Xmas is saved. No more coal mining daughter. Was cute though.

All cleaned up.

Now my house smells like a meth lab. No I am Not shaving my head!!! Could make my daughter happy but not this year. No hair cuts in 2020!!!

Time to open the windows and it's freezing out.

Best part of all. I am smiling and laughing during the whole thing. Dishes can be washed. Paint can be scraped or worn off in a few weeks.  That mark might on the wall might need paint. Lol.

Successful craft night ending. Priceless.
